In addition to serving as the firm's managing partner and co-chairman of the firm's land use and governmental department, Alan Ciklin practices in the areas of land use, zoning, governmental and real estate law.
Born in West Palm Beach, Florida, and raised in Connecticut, Mr. Ciklin returned to Florida in 1971 to begin his law practice as an assistant Palm Beach County attorney. He later became director of the Palm Beach County Planning, Zoning and Building Department, was named deputy county attorney in 1974, and was active in the development of Palm Beach County's land use and zoning codes, and Comprehensive Plan.
A graduate of Muskingum College in New Concord, Ohio, he received his law degree from Ohio Northern University, and has been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, U.S. Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Ciklin's outside interests include weight training and physical fitness. An AV rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, Mr. Ciklin has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America written by Steven Haifeh and Gregory White Smith, and published by Woodward/White, Inc. |
